I BEER FESTIVAL Cangas del Narcea

This weekend the Local Hospitality Board organize the I Beer Festival of the village. From the rural apartments El Balcon de Muniellos we encourage you to come these days to the prao del molín to enjoy a wide variety of national and international beers.

You can also eat because during the two days all the stands will offer tapas and pinchos for all tastes., dance with the different performances that will be, or buy at the typical craft stalls that will be set up, so don't hesitate, because even if it rains there are two very large tents so as not to get wet.

I leave you the schedules festival and the different musical performances of the weekend.

Friday 11 of May

19:00 h – Inauguration and opening of the stands with the different beers of the world and the craft market. Performance by the Bagpipe Band of Cangas del Narcea and the Perendengue Traditional Dance Group of Cangas del Narcea.

23:00 h – Beatriz and her accordion.

Saturday 12 of May

12:00 h – Opening of stands and craft market. Performance of the Perendengue Traditional Dance Group of Cangas del Narcea.

18:00 h – Performance of the Bagpipe Band of Cangas del Narcea.

19:00 h – Asturian Tonada Concert.

22:00 h – Rock concert: Penguin (Cangas del Narcea) Y Noise “n”Confusion (Gijon)

JORNADAS ASTURIANA VEAL AND WINE QUALITY OF CANGAS

This coming weekend is the Days of Veal and Cangas Quality Wine.

From the rural apartments El Balcon de Muniellos We encourage you to participate in these gastronomic days that will be held in different restaurants in the council of Cangas del Narcea.

In all of them you can enjoy different dishes whose main ingredient will be Asturian beef., in a perfect pairing with the varied Quality wines Cangas.

Likewise, during the weekend will be held the National Calf Auction Contest of the Asturian Breed of the Valleys, at the Imera fairgrounds on Sunday from 11:00 h.

As a complement to the conference, there will be a Crafts Fair with the participation of wood craftsmen, honey producers, embedded, pan, cheese, textiles, decor, toys….etc.

V 4X4 ROUTE SALTASUCOS

This weekend a new route along the roads of the council held four vehicles×4. From the rural apartments El Balcon de Muniellos we encourage you to participate in this event organized by Saltasucos , The program is as follows:

  • Friday 17: Reception of participants and dinner at the Hotel La Casilla
  • Saturday 18: Off-road route through different ways of Cangas del Narcea all day. Starting at 21:00 h dinner and then enjoy “La Noce de Cangas “. Remember that it is CARNIVAL so to disfrutar¡¡¡
  • Sunday 19: Walking in the morning with Trialeras, and food from the 14:00 h.

The registration fee is € 70,00 the full weekend (It includes dinner on Friday, rutómetro, lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday).

'It's here CARNIVAL ¡¡¡

This weekend the town of Cangas del Narcea prepares to enjoy the carnival, since Friday 17 February to Tuesday 21, day on which the children's carnival will be held for the little ones.

From the rural apartments El Balcon de Muniellos, We encourage you to come and enjoy our carnival, since in addition to having a great time, you can enjoy the typical carnival menu in the establishments of the village.

The Saturday 18 will be held a costume contest, you can see it from 22:00 h, time at which a parade will begin along the main street with the participants guided by the group of bagpipes from Cangas del Narcea.

If you want to participate in the contest you must sign up before the day 17 February in the Café Pub History. The prizes are as follows:

  • Group awards: 1º 500€, 2º 200€ and 3rd 100€
  • individual awards: 1º 200€ and 2nd 100€
  • Best venue award: 100€ + Diploma

The mars 21 from twelve noon mural workshops will be held, masks and masks for all children who want to go to the Plaza de la Oliva, and from five in the afternoon the Grand Dance and Children's Costume Contest. You are all invited to participate, whether individual costumes or entire families, The prizes you can win are the following:

  • individual awards: 1º 80€, 2º 60€ and 3rd 40€

You can now download the new Cangas del Narcea Tourist Guide from mobile devices. All of you who come to Cangas can enjoy this new application offered by the Cangas del Narcea City Council tourist office..

You will only have to place yourself in the vicinity of the tourist office and follow the next steps:

  1. Activate the bluetooth of your mobile and configure it in visible mode

Mycological in Cangas del Narcea

Rural apartments El Balcon de Muniellos We invite you to participate next weekend, of the 11-13 of November, the micolólogicas days organized by the Association of Friends of mushrooms Cangas del Narcea, “Senderuela”.

The conference will begin with the presentation of the book “Fungal biodiversity of the natural park of Somiedo“, Friday at half past seven p.m. on Saturday Treito and library will open to the public a mycological exhibition in the parish premises of the main street, with the most representative fungi in our region.

Throughout the weekend, the hospitality of the town these days collaborate with mycological menus, so do not lose the hype.

Give us your opinion, Which one do you like the most, the boletus, chanterelles, Mushroom thistle… I will definitely stay with a good grilled mushrooms with a little garlic….hum¡¡¡¡

WALK tortillas and cheese TINEO

Since Tuesday 11 from october to sunday 16, in the town of Tineo you can enjoy a new skewers contest, based on tortilla and cheese. Participating in this route 19 establishments. A route has been designed, so that each place marks with a stamp the fact that they have tasted their skewer. Four different prizes can be won depending on the number of stamps obtained.

  1. If it is possible to complete the router with 19 seals, you can win a Mediterranean cruise for two, all inclusive)
  2. if they get 16 stamps of different establishments, you can win one Stay in La Rioja for two people with accommodation, lunch and visit to the Vivanco museum.
  3. If they are obtained 10 seals, you can choose a Lot of Gastronomic Baskets con 6 bottles of wine and a batch of Tineo cheeses.
