Rural apartments El Balcon de Muniellos We invite you to participate next weekend, of the 11-13 of November, the micolólogicas days organized by the Association of Friends of mushrooms Cangas del Narcea, “Senderuela”.

Este fin de semana se celebra en Cangas del Narcea la X Fiesta de la Vendimia, no podéis perdérosla, será los días 7,8 Y 9 October. Por todas las calles de la villa podréis encontrar puestos de productos artesanales típicos de la zona, y como no, podréis degustar del excelente Vino de Calidad de Cangas.
Durante estos días también podréis visitar de manera gratuita el Museo del Vino de Santiso, o la Exposición de Fotografía ubicada en la sala de exposiciones del Ayuntamiento, en la que se lleva a cabo una restrospectiva de las vendimias entre 1900 Y 1970.

Tradition marks that the young men of the town go to “Steal” the tree on the river bank and carry it on their shoulders to the chapel of Ambasaguas.
Tree laying begins around 01:00 in the morning and consists of “plantar” the tree in front of the chapel so that its crown is higher than the bell tower.
After the laying of the tree, the bravest young men climb the trunk as high as possible to deposit the crown of flowers made by hand by the women of the Peña La Mecha (tradition started years ago by María L’Aire) in honor of the Virgen del Carmen.
